Wetzlar lives on two levels. Down by the Lahn sits the old town, about 150 metres above sea level; the hillside neighbourhoods climb to a good 400. Between the two lie bends, cobblestones and streets that are narrower for a 3.5-tonne van than they look on the map. Moving here takes a planned approach route, not luck.

What a move costs in Wetzlar
The hourly rate for two movers with a van is €89. Frankfurt to Wetzlar is about 65 road kilometres; the first 20 are included, the remaining 45 cost €1.20 per kilometre, so €54. Three rooms, second floor with no lift on either side: €600–800 as the working estimate — travel included. Everything else is on prices.
Moving for a job
Wetzlar runs on optics and precision engineering: Leitz, better known today as Leica, plus Hensoldt, Minox and Pfeiffer are all based here. If a new position brings you to town, the start date is usually fixed and the margin small. Halteverbot in Wetzlar
In the old town and around the tight streets of the Neustadt, little works without a temporary no-parking zone. We file the application with the city, handle the signs and list the municipal fee separately.
Liability and payment
Every piece we transport is covered by law: €620 per cubic metre of load under § 451e HGB. Payment is due once the move is done — by bank transfer or in cash. We never ask for a deposit.
Nearby towns
Gießen is twelve kilometres east, Marburg half an hour north, Limburg a good 40 kilometres down the Lahn. Headquarters stays Frankfurt.
We only need carriers — we have a van ourselves.

Usually within a week; at the end of the month it takes longer — Friday and Saturday go first.
