Marburg is the trickiest address we serve — and distance has nothing to do with it. The trouble is the Oberstadt: if you live up there, you know the walk from the parking spot to your front door can hold more stair steps than both flats put together. Marburg is one of the few cities where a public lift counts as public transport; the Oberstadt lift at Pilgrimstein is one of them. Handy for people. No help at all for a wardrobe.

Liability and payment
Every piece we transport is covered by law: €620 per cubic metre of load under § 451e HGB. Payment is due once the move is done — by bank transfer or in cash. We never ask for a deposit.

North along the A5 we run regularly: Gießen is a quarter of an hour south, Wetzlar right next to it. Our base remains Frankfurt.
Is it worth it at all across 90 kilometres?
Do the maths: the travel adds €84, which is less than one hour of work time. What makes a move expensive is almost always floors and carry distance, not the motorway.
Does the van get into the Oberstadt?
Depends on the address — some lanes are too narrow for a 3.5-tonne van, so we load at the nearest possible point and carry. That is exactly what the survey settles, so the time sits in the quote instead of turning up on the final bill.
