Bad Homburg is a suburban run for us: down the Hessenring, onto the A661, under 20 kilometres — so the travel sits entirely inside the hourly rate. No surcharge, no flat fee for drive time, no debate about it on moving day.
The town itself makes the work more interesting than the road. Everything from the spa quarter to the hillside plots towards the Taunus spreads across altitudes of 137 to 250 metres — narrow drives to villa properties, gravel paths where the van cannot reach the door, and Altbau flats with stairwells where a sofa only clears the bend standing on end.
