Mainz begins where the Rhine turns into a border — for many moving companies, not for us. We drive from Frankfurt over the river: into the winding Altstadt, into the Neustadt grid, up to Lerchenberg. The price stands in writing beforehand, and so does the date.

What a move costs in Mainz
Two movers and a van cost €89 per hour. Travel is included up to 20 km, after that every kilometre counts at €1.20. Three rooms, second-floor walk-up on both sides, a good 40 kilometres of travel: guide price €540–720. All conditions sit in the open on the Prices page.
Altstadt logistics
In the Mainz Altstadt the van does not get far without a Halteverbot — we apply for it at the city of Mainz and put the signs up on schedule. Around the university quarters, the student move is worth a look too: part-loads between Mainz, Frankfurt and Fulda make small moves cheaper.
Liability and payment
Every piece we transport is covered by law: €620 per cubic metre of load under § 451e HGB. Payment is due once the move is done — by bank transfer or in cash. We never ask for a deposit.

Is the price in Mainz the same as in Frankfurt?
The hourly rate, yes — €89. Only the travel differs, and it stands openly in the quote: €1.20 per kilometre from the 21st.
Do you pack the kitchen too?
Yes. The packing service takes the whole flat or just the china — as its own line in the quote.
