The van stands outside your door — or thirty metres down the road, because nobody was allowed to park closer. A temporary no-parking zone (Halteverbot) saves exactly that carrying time: we apply for it at the city and put the signs up on schedule, at the old address and the new one.
What we take over
The application to the public order office (Ordnungsamt), the municipal fee, the signs with the legally required lead time, and collecting them after the move. In the fixed-price calculator the zone is its own line: plus half an hour of working time. The city’s fee is passed on unchanged.
The application needs working days
The office needs a few working days of notice — so order the Halteverbot when you book the move, not the day before. Booked too late, it turns into paid minutes of circling for a space and carrying across the street: every metre of carrying distance is working time. In Frankfurt districts like Nordend or Sachsenhausen, where parking is scarce anyway, the zone is almost always the cheaper calculation.
