After twenty or forty years in the same flat, a move is not a logistics problem — it is a chapter of life. We take the time: for sorting, for questions, for a second look into the cellar. What moves along is decided calmly, not under pressure on moving day.
Sorting before packing
Less volume means lower costs — and the new flat is usually smaller than the old one. Whatever stays behind does not become your problem: bulky waste (Sperrmüll) and old appliances go straight to proper disposal, details under house clearance. What remains we pack completely if you wish — room by room, labelled, with the packing service.
We handle the paperwork too
On request we take care of the Ummeldung — registering the new address at the Bürgeramt — and set up postal forwarding. Family members get the same updates as you do, if you want that: one email to info@umzugschef.de is enough.
Fixed price and liability
The price stands in writing beforehand, and so does the date. Liability runs under § 451e HGB at €620 per cubic metre — for the china just as for the wardrobe.
